Bryan R. Smith is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Michigan State University (MSU), affiliated with the Engineering School and the Institute for Quantitative Health Science and Engineering. His interdisciplinary research focuses on developing novel nanotechnology-based approaches to enhance immune system functionality and create diagnostic/therapeutic agents for diseases such as cancer, atherosclerosis, and neurodegeneration. Previously, he completed his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Ohio State University and a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, where he also served as an Instructor before joining MSU.
