Bryan MacGavin

Dr. Bryan MacGavin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The Citadel, joining the faculty in August 2024. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (2017), an M.S. in Engineering from Saint Louis University (2023), and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Saint Louis University (2024). His research focuses on mechatronics, human factors engineering, computer-aided design, and improving engineering education through inclusive technologies. His doctoral work explored wearable haptic technologies for facilitating communication and education accessibility.
