Bruno Zatt is a Professor at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil, affiliated with the Group of Architectures and Integrated Circuits (GACI) and the Video Technology Research Group (ViTech). He holds a B.S. (2006) and M.S. (2008) in Computer Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Microelectronics (2012, summa cum laude) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). With 14+ years of research experience, his work focuses on algorithms and hardware architectures for video processing, including 3D video coding for embedded devices. He has conducted research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT, Germany) and served as a visiting professor at the University of California, Irvine (USA).
