Bruno SOULIER is a Senior Lecturer at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan (ENS Cachan) and holds a part-time Lecturer position at École des Ponts ParisTech. His primary affiliation is with the Mechanical Engineering department. He teaches courses in multidisciplinary system modeling, composite materials design, and computer-aided design (CAD), including modules for first-year Sapphire students and M1-level programs in Mechanical Systems and International Master’s courses. His research focuses on multi-level optimization strategies, metamodels, and numerical design methodologies, particularly applied to structural assemblies involving contact mechanics. He has contributed to major projects like the ANR OMD and OMD2 initiatives on multidisciplinary optimization.
Beyond teaching, SOULIER serves as Vice-President of the DUT/BTS entrance examination at ENS Cachan and previously directed the AIP-PRIMECA Ile-de-France cluster (2004–2006).
