Bruno Emond is an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University's Department of Cognitive Science, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from McGill University and works at the NRC Information and Communications Technologies Portfolio. His research focuses on computational modeling in areas such as knowledge representation, natural language, artificial intelligence, and broadband e-learning.
Current projects include leading the Multimodal INteractive Trainer (MINT) initiative. Notable contributions include developing a WordNet module for the ACT-R cognitive architecture and cognitive models for avatar control in battle simulations.
