Dr. Lee’s research focuses on biologically-inspired molecular designs using chemistry, polymer engineering, and materials science to develop functional materials for biomedical applications. Key projects include:

Notably, he received the 2016 Young Investigator Award from the Office of Naval Research. Dr. Lee also co-founded Nerites Corporation, which was acquired by Kensey Nash (Royal DSM) in 2011.
