About
Bruce Krueger is Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Physiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with secondary appointment in Psychiatry. His research investigates cellular and molecular mechanisms of brain development underlying autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Research focuses on how prenatal exposure to environmental factors like valproic acid induces autism-like behaviors through disruption of fetal brain development. Current projects examine gene-environment interactions in neurodevelopmental disorders.
Methodologies include transcriptomic analysis, next-generation RNA sequencing, and behavioral assessment in animal models.
