Bruce A. Green is the Louis Stein Chair at Fordham University School of Law and Director of the Louis Stein Center for Law and Ethics. A full-time faculty member since 1987, he specializes in legal ethics, professional responsibility, and criminal law. His research explores prosecutorial ethics, judicial conduct, and access to justice. He co-authored Professional Responsibility: A Contemporary Approach and advises via courses like Professional Responsibility and Ethics in Criminal Advocacy.
Active in professional organizations, Green chairs the ABA Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination committee. He previously led the NY State Bar Association’s Committee on Professional Ethics and the ABA Criminal Justice Section. Awards include the 2018 Michael Franck Professional Responsibility Award.
Publications span ethics reform, prosecutor accountability, and legal technology’s role in BigLaw. He advises on DOJ politicization, victim rights, and disciplinary mechanisms for advocates. His work with the Stein Center includes conferences like the Legal Ethics Schmooze and Access to Justice Roundtable.
