Bruce Dean Willis

Bruce Willis is Professor of Spanish and Comparative Literature at The University of Tulsa's Kendall College of Arts & Sciences. He specializes in 20th-21st century Latin American literature and culture, with fluency in Spanish and Portuguese.

His research examines cultural identity through Mesoamerican, Catholic, and Mexican iconography in contemporary art and literature. Current projects focus on creators from Greater Mexico including Yuri Herrera and Lila Downs.
