Bruce Arthur Murray is an Adjunct Lecturer and Resident Director of the Illinois Program in Vienna at the University of Illinois's Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures. He holds a Ph.D. in German Studies from the University of Minnesota, with a dissertation on German film and politics in the Weimar Republic. His academic background includes B.A. degrees (summa cum laude) in German and English from Luther College, and an M.A. in German Studies from Middlebury College. He has conducted research in Freiburg, Mainz, and Berlin (East and West).
