Brown Gordon E. Jr.

Gordon E. Jr. Brown is a leading academic in Earth & Cosmic Sciences, currently serving as Chair of the Department of Geological & Environmental Sciences at Stanford University since 2011. He holds concurrent professorships in Stanford's School of Earth Sciences, Department of Photon Science at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and Chemical Engineering (by courtesy). His interdisciplinary career spans environmental geochemistry, synchrotron radiation applications, and high-temperature material studies.
