Brooke Colman (PsyD '21) is an Adjunct Professor at Michigan School of Psychology (MSP), teaching Professional and Scientific Ethics in the MA program. A graduate of MSP's doctoral program and Michigan State University (undergraduate), she transitioned to psychology from marketing, driven by a passion for understanding human behavior and clinical mentorship. Her research focuses on health psychology, particularly chronic pain and weight management, with implications for self-esteem and body image. Her dissertation explored transracial adoption through parental perceptions of developmental and emotional challenges in biological and adopted children.
