Brittany Butler is an Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School and the founding Executive Director of the Social Innovation and Change Initiative (SICI). She specializes in purpose-driven leadership and strategies for system-level change, equipping students and practitioners with tools for impactful innovation.

Her research focuses on social innovation, collective action for mental health, and child development in K–12 education. Prior to Harvard, she founded two organizations addressing post-Katrina mental health and child development in schools. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and outlets like Stanford Social Innovation Review, and she has presented at the White House.
