Brigitte Möller is a PhD candidate and uni:docs fellow at the University of Vienna's Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences. Her research focuses on medical anthropology, migration, healthcare, and ageing, particularly examining cultural translations in elderly care for Turkish migrants in Vienna and Amsterdam. She is supervised by Prof. Tatjana Thelen and is part of the CaSt research group.
Education: BA and MA in medical anthropology from the University of Amsterdam. Professional background includes research on migrants and health care in the Netherlands. Current PhD project investigates interactions between first-generation Turkish migrants and caregivers, using ethnographic methods in healthcare settings.
