Brigitte Burrichter

Brigitte Burrichter is a Senior Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of Modern Languages / Romance Studies, University of Würzburg. She specializes in Italian and French literature from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, French Classicism, contemporary French literature (particularly nouveau roman), Francophone literature of Sub-Saharan Africa, narratology, cultural studies, and comparative studies. Her research includes projects like the BMBF-funded 'Narragonien digital' (2014–2019) and participation in the DFG network 'Medieval Narratology' (2014–2017).
