Brigit VanGraafeiland is an Associate Professor and Director of the DNP Executive Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. With over 30 years as a pediatric nurse practitioner and 20 years in nursing education, she focuses on improving care for vulnerable populations through scholarship in child maltreatment, human trafficking screening, and social determinants of health. Her clinical work spans rural/urban primary care settings, currently in Eastern Baltimore.
