Brigid Flynn is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of English at Northeastern University's College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). She is currently a PhD candidate (ABD) in English at Northeastern, with a Master’s Degree in English and Film Studies from the University of Rhode Island. Her research focuses on film adaptation, children’s literature, and Victorian literature, particularly the representation of children in Victorian texts.
She teaches First-Year Writing (ENGW 1111), emphasizing writing processes, research methodologies, and genre adaptation across academic and professional contexts. Her courses integrate workshop-style learning and critical analysis of diverse texts.
