Dr. Briardo Llorente is the Chief Scientific Officer of the Australian Genome Foundry and a Research Professor at Macquarie University's School of Natural Sciences. He leads the Multi-Omics Research Centre, focusing on synthetic biology solutions for global challenges. His research integrates genomics, metabolic engineering, and biotechnology to develop innovative approaches in nutrition, agriculture, and space science.
