Brian VanVoorst

Brian VanVoorst is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Michigan Technological University (part-time role) and a Principal Research Scientist at Honeywell. He earned BS (1991) and MS (1993) degrees in Computer Science from MTU. His career spans NASA Ames Research Center (parallel supercomputers software development) and DARPA-funded robotics projects. Recognized for innovations in computational tools and autonomous vehicle systems, he has received prestigious awards including NASA's Software of the Year Award.
