Brian Strang

Brian Strang is a Lecturer in the Department of English at San Francisco State University (SFSU). With over 25 years of higher education experience, he specializes in fostering student-centered learning environments that prioritize collaboration and writing development. A graduate of SFSU’s Creative Writing M.F.A. program, his teaching philosophy emphasizes empowering students to become independent writers through effective writing processes applicable beyond academia.
