Brian Reed

Brian Reed is a Professor in the Department of Chemical, Biochemical and Environmental Engineering within the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His primary research investigates inorganic contaminant removal from water using advanced adsorption and membrane technologies.

His research portfolio includes development of impregnated activated carbons for arsenic and perchlorate removal, membrane treatment systems for industrial wastewater, radionuclide removal strategies, and fundamental studies of transition metal behavior in aquatic systems.
