Brian R. Chabowski is a Professor of Marketing in the Department of Management & Marketing at the Collins College of Business, The University of Tulsa. His work bridges marketing, international business, and sustainability, with a strong emphasis on global strategy and organizational learning.
His research interests include environmental, social, and economic sustainability; international marketing strategy; global branding; exporting; and knowledge management. These areas reflect a deep commitment to interdisciplinary approaches in addressing complex global business challenges.
Brian serves on the editorial review boards of several top academic journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Business Research, and AMS Review. He has also served as a special section editor and ad hoc reviewer for these and other journals.
Brian has extensive international experience, having lived and worked in Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, and Estonia. He served as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Lithuania for three years after completing his bachelor's degree and was most recently a Fulbright Scholar in Finland.
