Brian Pecchia

Brian Pecchia is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Marist College's School of Science, Department of Allied Health. He holds a DPT from Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, CT) and a BS in Athletic Training from Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY). His clinical residency focused on orthopaedic care, complemented by board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Therapy.

Research & Clinical Focus:

• Advancing nano-technology applications in manual therapy education
• Orthopaedic patient care across lifespan, including pediatric school-based interventions

Service Contributions:

• Developed a pro bono physical therapy clinic
• Organized medical mission trips to Guatemala
• Advocate for men's health (Movember) and child abuse prevention

Teaching Mission: Prepares future physical therapists to deliver quality care in the Hudson Valley region and beyond. Active in clinical education innovation through technology integration.
