Brian H Kiepper

Brian H Kiepper serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Poultry Science within the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia. He maintains an adjunct faculty appointment in the College of Engineering and allocates his professional responsibilities as 62% Extension, 25% Teaching, and 13% Research.

Dr. Kiepper's research program centers on sustainable environmental management of water in poultry processing facilities, investigating both internal aspects (water use, quality, conservation/reuse; wastewater generation, assessment, treatment) and external factors (stormwater management). His work develops innovative technologies for recovering value-added products from traditional poultry processing waste streams while minimizing environmental impact.
