Brian Cronin

Brian Cronin is a Lecturer in Theatre at Boston College's Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from Tufts University, an M.S.B.A. from San Francisco State University, and a B.A. from University of Massachusetts Amherst.

His professional background includes performance experience as an actor and work as Assistant Dramaturge at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, where he served on the Literary Committee. Cronin's teaching covers Introduction to Theatre, History of Theatre, and Modern Theatre & Drama. His research specializes in Medieval European Drama, Traditional Japanese Theatre, and 20th Century Avant-Garde performance, bridging historical theatrical traditions with contemporary performance theory.
