Brian Applegate

Brian Applegate is a Professor at the University of Southern California with joint appointments in the Departments of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, Ophthalmology, Biomedical Engineering, and Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research focuses on developing advanced biophotonic technologies for point-of-care diagnosis and monitoring of human diseases, particularly those affecting the ear. He leads the Applegate Research Group, which collaborates closely with John Oghalai's lab to advance optical coherence tomography (OCT) and other imaging modalities.
