Brett Hyde

Brett Hyde is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Linguistics at Washington University, serving as Director of Linguistics. He holds a PhD from Rutgers University. His research primarily examines phonology and metrical stress theory, with current projects exploring weight-insensitive binary stress patterns, NonFinality constraints, Banawá prosody phenomena, and syllable weight measurement in unbounded stress systems.
