Brent Ehresman

Dr. Brent Ehresman serves as Assistant Teaching Professor and Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy at Wichita State University's College of Health Professions. A Kansas Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy, he specializes in orthopedic treatment with advanced certifications in dry needling.

His academic credentials include:

• Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science (2018), Wichita State University
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2021), Wichita State University

Dr. Ehresman's research and teaching focus on orthopedic physical therapy, rehabilitation science, and evidence-based manipulative techniques. His clinical expertise is enhanced by Level 1 and 2 Dry Needling certifications from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, directly informing his instructional approach in musculoskeletal treatment.

Prior to his current full-time appointment beginning Fall 2023, he served as an adjunct lab professor for orthopedic courses at Wichita State University immediately following his 2021 graduation.
