Brent Bannerman

Brent Bannerman is an Instructor in the Department of Music at St. Francis Xavier University, where he has taught since 2016-2017. His roles include instruction in music theory and music history. Previously, he served for 36 years as a secondary music teacher and director of bands at Dr. JH Gillis Regional High School, leading a nationally and internationally recognized band program. He maintains a thriving piano studio and has contributed extensively to music theatre and liturgical music.
