Brenna K. Vickers

Dr. Brenna K. Vickers serves as Professor of Counseling and Chair of the Counseling Psychology Department at Toccoa Falls College. She holds a D.Coun from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.S. from University of North Georgia, and B.S. from Toccoa Falls College.

Her research focuses on Third Culture Kids, Member Care, and balancing self-care with mental toughness in counseling contexts. She maintains professional affiliations with the American Association of Christian Counselors and American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy.

Dr. Vickers has received multiple teaching awards including the Vulcan Teaching Excellence Award and Faculty of Impact Award (three times). She emphasizes preparing students for careers in counseling through practical courses like Counseling Skills, Family Therapy, and Counseling Internship.
