Brendan Saloner

Brendan Saloner is the Donald G. Millar Professor of Alcohol and Addiction Studies and Professor of Health Services, Policy, and Practice at Brown University. He serves as Associate Director of Policy in the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies. His research focuses on healthcare access for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, healthcare in criminal legal systems, and bioethics. He has led major initiatives like the evaluation of the Bloomberg Overdose Prevention Initiative and studies on mobile methadone treatment in New York. Saloner holds a BA from UC Berkeley and a PhD in Health Policy from Harvard University.
