Brenda Murphy

Brenda Murphy is a Professor in the Department of Society, Culture and Environment at Wilfrid Laurier University's Waterloo campus. She is also a Graduate Faculty Member in Social Justice and Community Engagement and Geography. Her research focuses on emergency management, climate change impacts, and maple syrup-related studies. Research interests include interdisciplinary approaches to environmental policy, disaster risk reduction, and agro-ecological systems. She supervises graduate students in social justice and community engagement programs. Languages spoken: English and French.
