Dr. Brenda Lackey is a Professor at the College of Natural Resources, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from the University of Idaho, an M.S. in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a B.S. in Forestry from Southern Illinois University.

Dr. Lackey serves as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Natural Resources and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Interpretation Research. She co-authored the influential The Interpreters Guidebook, and actively participates in academic leadership through her board membership at the National Association for Interpretation (NAI) since 1989.
