Breeyawn Lybbert

Breeyawn Lybbert is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, affiliated with the College of Science, Engineering and Technology. Her work focuses on innovative pedagogical approaches in chemistry education.

• B.S. in Chemistry (2005) from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (2012) from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

Her research centers on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), with projects designed to:
• Enhance chemistry concept understanding through writing, peer review, and self-assessment
• Develop gamification strategies for math mastery in pre-nursing chemistry courses
• Improve information literacy (graph interpretation, data analysis) in chemistry labs.

She actively implements and develops Open Educational Resources (OERs) to support student learning in her courses.
