Breeda Comyns

Breeda Comyns is an Associate Professor of Sustainability at KEDGE Business School. She holds a PhD from the University of Leeds (2013), an MSc from the University of Manchester, and a BSc from the University of Limerick.

Her research examines critical sustainability challenges through multiple lenses:

• Corporate Accountability: Environmental misconduct responses, supply chain ethics, and crisis management
• Climate Governance: Science-based targets, risk disclosure frameworks, and regulatory impacts
• Global Sustainability: Transnational policies, developing economies, and ESG integration

Her recent publications analyze how crises like COVID-19 affect corporate sustainability commitments, with methodological emphasis on empirical case studies across energy, finance, and manufacturing sectors. Research consistently intersects business strategy, environmental policy, and ethical governance.

At KEDGE, she teaches corporate strategy and CSR courses, translating research insights into business education.
