Branislav Olah

Prof. Ing. Branislav Olah, PhD is a Professor at the Department of Applied Ecology within the Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Studies at the Slovak University of Technology in Zvolen. He serves as an External Teacher at the Faculty of Forestry (TU) and is actively involved in academic governance through memberships in various councils and committees.

His research focuses on ecosystem services, landscape protection, and urban ecology, with teaching responsibilities in postgraduate courses such as Adaptation Measures in Landscape Design, Ecosystem Services and Green Infrastructure, and Urban Ecology.

Current affiliations include the Scientific Council (Faculty of Ecology and Environmental Sciences) and the University Management. He has held historical roles in academic senate and program committees for study programs like Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation.
