Brandon Schneeberger is an Assistant Professor of English at Montreat College's Faculty of Christianity, Culture, and Human Expression. He holds a B.S.E. from Emporia State University, an M.A. from Kansas State University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He teaches writing and literature courses, including an online Shakespeare course at Oklahoma State University.
His research explores Religion and Literature, British Literature, Shakespeare Studies, and 18th-Century Literature, with emphasis on early modern and eighteenth-century authors, religious themes, and conversational dynamics in texts.
Publications focus on Shakespearean drama, Jane Austen's novels, and theological motifs in literary works. Recent articles analyze sacrificial love in Austen, liturgical elements in Chesterton, and friendship rhetoric in Shakespeare.
