Brandon B. Golob

Brandon B. Golob serves as the Associate Dean of Campuswide Honors Collegium and an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California, Irvine. His work centers on translating legal knowledge to laypeople through mediated and interpersonal communication.

• Education: Dual B.A. in Rhetoric and Interdisciplinary Studies (UC Berkeley), J.D. (UCLA School of Law), M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication (University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism)

His research explores inclusive pedagogy, law and popular culture, and media effects on legal understanding. He has pioneered online learning frameworks, notably in the course Social Media and The Law, emphasizing student wellness and accessible education design.
