Their work challenges hegemonic structures and emphasizes embodied sense-making through eroticism and hapticality. Forrest’s published article "Crip Feelings/Feeling Crip" analyzes psychiatric disability representation in visual culture and queer studies. Current projects include a manuscript on transcrip studies and photographic analysis of gender/pathology intersections.
Presentation venues include the American Studies Association Annual Meeting, Mezipatra Queer Film Festival, and Critical Ethnic Studies Association Conference. No formal awards or grants are listed, though their work engages interdisciplinary academic and artistic communities.
