Brady Greenwalt is a Teaching and Learning Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He serves as the Administrative Interpreter to the Outreach Director under the Wisconsin Educational Services Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (WESP-DHH).
Brady holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language & Literature from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2016) and completed his Interpreter Training Program at UWM in 2022.
His research and teaching focus on nurturing students’ holistic development as American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, emphasizing the interplay between personal growth and professional competence. He is certified with the BEI Advanced and has experience in post-secondary education, video remote interpreting (VRS), performance interpreting, and community settings.
Brady advocates for culturally responsive practices and student-centered learning in interpreter education.
