Professor Brad Murphy is the Mayne Professor of Indigenous Health and Wellbeing and Head of the Mayne Academy of Indigenous Health and Wellbeing at the University of Queensland's Medical School, within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and Medical Science from James Cook University.
His research and professional focus centers on Indigenous health, wellbeing, and health equity, with a commitment to advancing medical education and clinical practice in these areas. He is currently available for supervision of research students.
Professor Murphy leads the Mayne Academy, a key institution dedicated to improving Indigenous health outcomes through research, education, and community engagement.
