Brad Jenkins

Brad Jenkins serves as the SMAD Internship Coordinator, General Manager of The Breeze (JMU's student newspaper), and Instructor at the School of Media Arts and Design, James Madison University. He oversees The Breeze's print, digital, and magazine operations, while also managing journalism internships and practicum programs.

Previously, Jenkins worked as a reporter, features editor, and city editor at the Daily News-Record, and founded Shenandoah Living, a regional lifestyles magazine. His teaching focuses on news writing, magazine editing, and publication management. He actively mentors students in career development and journalistic practices.

Brad has no listed scientific awards, but his professional contributions to student media and journalism education are central to his role. His advising efforts emphasize real-world internship experiences and practical publication management skills.

He leads The Breeze team and collaborates with SMAD's academic programs to integrate classroom learning with professional journalism practices.
