Brad Evan Taylor

Brad Evan Taylor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. His research focuses on ceramics as a collaborative medium, emphasizing material phenomenology and the interplay between artist and material. Taylor holds an MFA from Alfred University and a BFA from the University of Utah.

He teaches courses including Introduction to Ceramics, Ceramics – Sculpture, and Technical Ceramics, among others. His creative work explores forms like 'Glaciated Mass,' 'Pyroplastic Deformation,' and 'Murray Stacks,' reflecting his interest in material freedom and process-driven artistry.
