Bosco Yu

Bosco Yu is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at McMaster University's Faculty of Engineering. He leads the Hybrid 3D Lab at the University of Victoria, focusing on advanced materials development through additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping.

Research Focus: Theoretical and applied studies in mechanics of materials, including structural composites, architected cellular materials, microstructural graded alloys, and bio-inspired design. His work addresses sustainable development through lightweight aerospace/automotive components, surgical implants, and sports equipment.
