O.Univ.-Prof. Dr. Boris Kuschnir is a distinguished violinist, chamber musician, and full professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz since 1999. He has been associated with the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna since 1984. A former concertmaster of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz (until 1983), he has profoundly influenced violin pedagogy through his internationally recognized teaching, nurturing renowned students like Julian Rachlin, Nikolaj Znaider, and Melina Mandozzi.
His artistic career includes founding the Moscow String Quartet (1970), Vienna Schubert Trio (1984), Vienna Brahms Trio (1993), and the Kopelman Quartet (2003).
