Bolor Amgalan is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Northeastern University's Art + Design Education department within the College of Arts, Media & Design. She holds a MFA in Design & Technology from Parsons School of Design and a MA in Material Futures from Central Saint Martins. Her research focuses on e-textiles, extended reality, and NFTs as catalysts for social change, exploring intersections of craft, technology, and human-machine collaboration. She previously taught at Parsons and Pratt Institute, and consults for Imago Rehab (a health tech startup).
Her work spans digital fashion, wearable tech, and functional apparel design, emphasizing culturally sensitive transition design interventions.
