Boel Hackman

Boel Hackman is an Associate Professor at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Stockholm University. Since earning her PhD at Uppsala University in 2000, she has taught and supervised literature studies while leading her department as head.

• Research Focus: 20th Century Literature, Gender Studies, Textual Criticism, Autobiographical Writing, Cultural Theory, and Aesthetic Analysis.
• Teaching: Specializes in democratizing literary education and fostering student-centered approaches to Scandinavian literature.
