Bobby Winters

Bobby Winters is a University Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Pittsburg State University. He also serves as Master Advisor. His roles integrate academic leadership, teaching, and research.

Education:

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Oklahoma State University (1989)
• M.S. in Mathematics, Oklahoma State University (1985)
• B.S. in Mathematics, East Central University (1983)

Research Interests: Focused on geometric topology, including noncompact 3-manifolds, knot theory, and mathematical exposition. His work explores topological structures and their applications, emphasizing clarity in mathematical communication through writings and expositions.

Teaching: Specializes in courses on Analysis, Topology, and Geometry. Has taught Math 557 Analysis and Math 143 Elementary Statistics, among others.
