Bobby Reddy is a Professor of Corporate Law and Governance at the University of Cambridge and holds the title of J M Keynes Senior Fellow in Financial Economics. He concurrently serves as a Global Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame and an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne. He is also a research member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI).
His research focuses on corporate governance, private equity, company law, and the innovation and efficiency of capital markets. He has authored the seminal book Founders Without Limits (Cambridge University Press) and published extensively on topics such as dual-class stock, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), and the regulatory dynamics of financial markets. His work critically examines the societal impact of regulatory policies and the health of stock exchanges, particularly the London Stock Exchange.
Previously, Professor Reddy was a corporate partner at Latham & Watkins LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and cross-border transactions. He later joined Tomorrow’s Company, a corporate governance think-tank, as a board trustee, advocating for ethical business practices.
He has contributed editorials to the Journal of Corporate Law Studies and been cited in Bloomberg, Financial Times, and other major publications. His interdisciplinary work bridges legal, financial, and policy domains to address contemporary challenges in global markets.
