Bob Tsukada Bright

Bob Tsukada Bright is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Greenwich. He serves as Programme Leader for the International Foundation Programme with Cultural Studies and teaches on BA English Language and ELT courses.

His research focuses on classroom discourse, particularly the interaction between teachers and second language learners within sociocultural frameworks. Current work investigates teacher explanations in vocabulary acquisition through online learning environments.

With extensive experience in teaching and teacher-training across the UK and Japan, Bob integrates technology-enhanced learning methodologies into his academic practice. His work bridges traditional pedagogy with modern e-learning solutions for language education.
